Humanity is in a state of turmoil today in preparation for a great step forward in self-conscious unfoldment. This is obvious by a growing sense of responsibility, which is the first flower and fruit of self-conscious awareness. Advanced humanity and the disciples of the world are equally in a state of turmoil. They are being tested and tried, prior to taking a major step forward. They have a capacity to respond to tests, to a sense of the vision and to use their power of individuality through a developed personality and through the potency of Leo.

This is the time of recognizing responsibilities to the self -- and
to the whole. The king or ruler of one's life shifts from the self to
the whole race of humanity.
This energy brings you back to your originating source. It is when the
energy of the Pointer star of the Great Bear (furthest from the Pole
star) begins to be felt and those on the Path register a sense of right
direction and guidance and are given an opportunity to recover that
knowledge which is lost. This guidance leads you nearer to the hierarchy.
As you achieve alignment, a direct inflow of divine energy links you
up in a new and creative manner to sources of divine supply.
In Leo you become conscious of the individual sun within you -- the
soul! The consciousness of individuality is first developed, utilized
and finally consecrated to divine purpose. The energies of the Leo full
moon bring forth independence and interdependence. They bring true Self-awareness.
Always there is the duality on the earth. In Leo the duality is seen
in the Sphinx, a lion with a human head.

KNOW
THYSELF is a second theme of the Leo energies. Only the true self-conscious
person can understand his innate dignity and thus honor the dignity
of his fellow men. The series of human rights developed through the
centuries demonstrate recognition of the dignity of others. The most
recent is the UN Declaration of Human Rights created in 1948. The rights
of individuals are listed. This list touches on the qualities of the
Spiritual sun.
The love that is redeeming humanity is coming from the Great Sun Sirius, outside our solar system, the home of the Great White Lodge. Our system is not yet ready for the full impact of this vibration, so it comes through the Hierarchy of Masters and is then directed to humanity.

There was no response to the influences of Leo and Virgo. The mystery of the sphinx did not exist and these two signs were not part of the zodiacal wheel.
